A live audiovisual concert, The Inhabitants expels a whole part of the world’s chaos in 45 minutes. Prophetic and hypnotic in a flood of images, ambiguous, sometimes frightening, sometimes ironic and grotesque, resulting from diversions and other forms of recycling. Here, a frenzied dialogue develops between music and image, abrasive music that conceals the dramatic underpinnings of a corridor-shaped narrative.
The Inhabitants, whose title is a nod to Pelechian’s eponymous work, is definitely a physical experience, an abrasive concert and a synesthetic trip into wild radicalism.
